Q1-What place do you call home and what is your spiritual home?

I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (as many of you know). I’ve always lived in and around the city…. And as much as I like to travel, Ottawa will always be my home. Of course if I win the lottery, then Akumal, Mexico would be my home for at least part of the year

Q2-Which CM superstar would you like to see play for your IRL club and why?

Well I have lots of clubs…. Having Papadopoulos up front for Man Utd these days would be good…. or Taribo West playing for Monterrey to solidify the defence…. or Gattuso beside Bradley at Toronto FC

    Q3-What's your drink of choice?

Rum. Red wine. Beer. Honestly I’ll drink almost anything apart from gin…. Can’t stand the stuff

Q4-What do you do for a living?

I’m a senior analyst working for the Canadian Firearms Program with the RCMP (Canada’s national police force). All things to do with guns go through us…. Licensing, registration, ballistics, crime reports, etc….I’ve worked here for a good while now and have done just about everything…. I’m currently doing trend analysis of smuggling routes and sourcing criminal guns….along with a bit of liaison work with other police forces and departments.

Q5-Who's your favourite Viper? Please explain your choice.

Not Kowa or Erk as those bastards keep me out of the lineup. I’d have to say it’s a tie between Ebz and AJ

Q6-Who would you like to see in the Forum Hall of Fame?

Ray deserves it for all his hard work around here… I remember when I had the time and energy…. running the CML, the challenges, etc…. dropping the ban hammer on the people who disrupted the site….. good to see people like Ray filling in for us old-timers…. He gets my vote for sure

    Q7-Any other hobbies?

I play footy on a pretty regular basis…. mostly as a GK, but the occasional defence or striker. I’m tall and have good reflexes. Also enjoy the odd video game, cross country skiing, cooking, and fixing up my cottage

Q8-What is the best thing about this forum?

As others have said, it’s the people. I’ve been here since almost the very beginning and I’ve made a lot of friends on this site…. some of whom no longer make appearances, but FB is great at keeping in touch

Q9-What do you eat the most?

Burgers, pizza, eggs….. I love cooking so I’m always trying new recipes, but I do love a greasy breakfast or a fast food burger from time to time

Q10-Who's your favorite babe m/f? pic please

Kate Beckinsale. I love women and my tastes are varied…. but she will always be on my list.

    Spoiler!

Q11-Post a pic of your favorite football shirt!

Mexico ’98 World Cup shirt. I own the home one, my gf ownsthe white away one

    Spoiler!

Q12-How would your mates describe you?

Funny, loyal, competitive, know-it-all, and a sarcastic asshole

Q13-What position do you look to strengthen first in-game?

I always make sure the DMC is strong. That position is crucial to my preferred tactic. After that it’s the spine of the team… GK, DCs, etc…

Q14-Where do you go to on vacation?

Akumal, Mexico once a year. Apart from that, the gf and I like to travel and we’re saving money for a Euro visit in the summer of 2020

Q15-What's your most loved movie/ tv series and who's your fave character in it?

Lost (Ben Linus), Simpsons (all of them), Game of Thrones (Sandor Clegane)…. I could re-watch all the episodes again. I’m also a massive Star Wars fan, especially of the Mandalorian culture. I’m actually almost done making a set of Mandalorian armour so I can join the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club (http://mandalorianmercs.org/). It’s a fan organization that raises money for children’s charities by dressing up like Star Wars characters (like the Stormtroopers of the 501st http://www.501st.com/ and the Rebel Legion http://www.rebellegion.com/). The recent ComicCon in Toronto raised over $10,000 for the local children’s hospital.

    Q16-Menubars. Do you bother?

Ya. I have a Craig Forrest menubar that predates this forum.

Q17-What feature would you like to see implemented in CM01/02?

A playable Mexican League. It’s a shame that the MLS is the only NA league in the game, especially since the Mexican League is far stronger and better supported. I often make a Mexico patch, but it’s not as accurate as I’d like.

Q18-What team do you hate with a passion and why them?

I don’t really hate anyone. I don’t like Liverpool or Man City due to their rivalry with United…. same with Rangers in Scotland and Tigres in Mexico…. but hate is a strong word.

Q19-Compare yourself to a real life football player!

    Craig Forrest

I, like him, was often on the wrong end of lop-sided score lines…. but again (like him) it was usually during games where I made 20+ saves but still ended up letting in 7 or 8 goals. Sadly, my defenders stopped trying after we got down by a couple of goals and left me trying to stop unrelenting waves of attack.

My Special question - What’s your favourite live sport to watch, and who do you like to watch?

Hockey. (Not ice hockey you peasants. Our version is “hockey”,the other version is “field hockey”).

I’m a die-hard fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and I streamalmost all the games every year. I go see them when they come to town and play vs Ottawa, and last year the gf and I went down to Philly to catch a game there (it was unreal).

We’re coming off some bad seasons, but our core group of players are in their prime and we’re surrounding them with some top-notch young prospects that are already good and only going to get better…. now if we could only fast-track our “can’t-miss-future-all-star-goalie” to the NHL, we’ll be set

Q20-Who would you like to see answering questions next and have you got a special Q for them?

And1. He’s a Director and I know next to nothing about him so I’m curious.

Special Q for him – If you could own any animal in the world, what would it be and why?

Philadelphia because Ottawa had no team growing up and I didn't want to cheer for Montreal or Toronto like everyone else in the area... babysitter had a cousin on the Flyers and used to go on about them... so they became my team

Don't mind a gin either. It depends what you mix it with as it is indeed vile on its own!

Wish those old timers on FB would come back on here

Your missus owns the other Mexico shirt. You mean she claimed it?

Oh man, that Mexico shirt was a belter, forgot about it too.

Ice hockey, I went to a game and didn't catch the bug.

Gin can be very varied taste to taste. Tried a Spanish one last week, was delightful.

Sounds like a very interesting job!

The job has its ups and downs..... busy and exciting one moment.... dull and tedious the next

Gin. Well, there's alcohol in it but that is the only good thing about it.

Always amazes me when people support more than 1 team. My missus is a Ginist. It's ok, but can't touch a single malt.

    Nice answers CF.

I support one team per league. I don't understand those who cheer for more than one team per league... that doesn't make sense to me

She'd recommend that you do. It's her favourite.

I'd tell you to pour it down the sink
