From memory, it was the first background that Tapani created to be used with the new interface as the others (the 800x600 ones) didn't work. It's mentioned in the installation instructions for 2.19 I believe (can't check at the mo. On Tapatalk.)

A few more background packs have been made since then though I believe.

I can't use the new interface anymore so am not really up to speed.

I was trying to tapanify the March 2012 update to run with the 3.19 patch. It took a while, but I sorted out all of the errors and the tapanify program ran clean and updated the database. When I start a new game, I now get a lot of Index 5809 errors which usually means that the patch doesn't match the database.

the program I am running is cmdbtapanify-1.23-odb. Does anyone know if this is the right version to go with the 3.19 patch ? If not, is there a newer version available ?

Guys when downloading this, if you choose the 1200 x 800 resolution, you need some sort of backround file? or something to ensure it works, any idea what this is and where it can be obtained?

The last time I tried all leagues with 2010 ODB update and no patch I got CPP errors. I didn't continue to see what happened though.

When you've got it put it in the data folder.

Will hopefully be some more 1280x800 background packs coming over from the old forum soon.

Just create one.

Resize an image to 1280x800.
Save it as a BMP (8 bit, 24 colors)
Save it somewhere handy like the Crive
Open piced.exe
Load it and save it as a background
Go to Championship Manager 01-02\Pictures and delete the current files (except pics.cfg) - back them up if you want them for future use (or dont like the 1280*800 interface)

When you open the game it should load

There is no way that I know of that can change the amount of teams in leagues

but I think name changes can be done but I'm not sure how

The 3.xx version of the Tapani patch does change the size of a number of leagues as well as adding a playable 6th tier to the English league structure. There were threads in the old forum that say what it changes as well as a readme in the download. Have a look at that to see if it helps.

The problem with changing the size of a league is that as well as altering the cm0102.exe (the offsets are well documented in this forum) you also have to change the league structure within the database. I've not seen how that is done, but if Tapani ever returns, you can maybe ask him.
