Watched Manchurian Candidate (7/10) and Safe house (6/10) the other night.

Anyone with Sky movies check out the Denzel Washington channel this month playing some of his movies.

Love a Denzel movie too, I haven't seen any for a while though!

Here's our latest ratings of films watched:

    The Invitation - 7/10
    The Bourne Ultimatum - 8/10
The Boy Next Door - 5/10
    The Bourne Legacy - 6/10
    Mother! - 2/10
    Trainspotting - 7/10
    Almost Famous - 6/10
    A Quiet Place - 9/10
    T2 Trainspotting - 7/10
    Johnny English - 6/10
    Whiplash - 7/10
    Passengers - 7/10
    Million Dollar Baby - 10/10
    Identity - 7/10
    Transformers - 8/10
    Ratter - 6/10
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - 6/10
    The Bodyguard - 8/10
The Hand That Rocks the Cradle - 6/10
Transformers: Dark of the Moon - 6/10
    Unlawful Entry - 6/10
Never Talk to Strangers - 5/10
Transformers: Age of Extinction - 6/10
Sleeping with the Enemy - 7/10
    The Social Network - 7/10
    Get Hard - 7/10
    Rampage - 6/10
    Sixteen Candles - 5/10
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels - 9/10
Transformers: The Last Knight - 6/10
    Take the Lead - 7/10
    12 Angry Men - 9/10
    Leap Year - 6/10
    Pan's Labyrinth - 7/10

Finished off the Bourne series and the Transformers series this month. The latter started well but went to the dogs in the last couple of movies despite Wahlberg's best efforts.

12 Angry Men was great, as was the old classic of Lock, Stock...

    Mother! was absolutely atrocious!

Million Dollar Baby was awesome, I just love Clint Eastwood and can't go wrong with Morgan Freeman in the cast too

Didn't realise Pan's Labyrinth was a Spanish film but it was an interesting watch either way.

Watched "The Nun" the other day. Didn't think it was as good as the others in the series but sets it up nicely for The Conjuring 3 - 6.5/10

Watched Hereditary a few days ago WEIRD ASS FILM! 4/10 could have been a lot better kind of felt the beginning was too slow middle had no real point and ending lacked any special twists.

Only got a 4 due to a couple of WTF scenes that surprised me

yeah people were making it out it was going to be the best horror film this year, ending was such a let down. worth a watch at least once though.

    Mamma Mia! - 6/10.
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan - 7/10.
    Burlesque - 6/10.
Fargo - 6/10. Not sure why I didn't enjoy this as much as I thought I would.
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock - 6/10.
    Baby Mama - 5/10.
    Shrek - 7/10.
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past - 5/10.
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home - 7/10.
    Cadillac Records - 6/10.
    Sherlock Holmes - 6/10.
    The Hitman's Bodyguard - 7/10.
    Shrek 2 - 7/10.
    Madagascar - 7/10.
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier - 5/10.
    The Good Dinosaur - 6/10.
    Shrek Forever After - 6/10.
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country - 7/10.
    Kick-Ass - 7/10.
Star Trek: Generations - 5/10 - First one of the Patrick Stewart movies, thought it was a bit boring and most of the movies starting to have the same feel to it.
    Hard Candy - 8/10.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows - 7/10.
    Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa - 6/10.

Only another 6 more Star Trek movies to watch, I think

I didn't really enjoy it either, when I watched it quite a few years ago. Having since enjoyed the TV series, I considered going back and rewatching, but probably not worth it.

I'm really lazy these when it comes to films these days, so just watch what pops up on Sky/Netflix. Some I've seen recently:
    The Man from U.N.C.L.E. - 6/10
    Midnight Special - 6/10
    The Clapper - 4/10
    The Layover - 5/10
    My Blind Brother - 7/10

Thought I'd actually enjoyed some recently, but apparently not as these are the five most recent in my IMDb ratings. Rest of the message was written so I carried on anyway.

    Venom 6.5-7/10
solid start...not a Marvel film as such...no link to MCU...(SONY/Marvel..film deal!)

slow start...lots of action middle...slightly messy end but overall a good film

Hardy is a good lead for this..works really well...

could have some legs this (spidey villain franchise)

DC universe being shown how to do it again..(although Wonder Woman was decent!)

Had some decent parts, Venom seemed a bit rushed as a character as well as some plot points. Tom Hardy looks like an excellent casting choice, hopefully some better direction and a decent script will give off a better film.

Humour never seemed natural throughout for me neither.

Don't think we'll bother watching Venom at the cinema itself, will wait a while before we can watch it.

Getting the Wife to watch the blade movies with me. She had never watched them and even though they are old films they still hold up super well.

I think it was the third one where it went a bit OTT. First one was decent, second was OK.

    Agreed first is blinding!

Second is pretty nice going back to as Guillermo Del Toro directed this and after watching all of his movies and TV projects you look back and see how similar the vampires move and act compared to the Strain.
