Well both Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill have left as Batman and Superman. DCEU definitely no more, which is a shame since Aqua Man looks decent and personally thought Wonder Woman sequel would be great.

Neither really had a clear opportunity to play the role without other factors getting in the way. Beit the hindrance of having to be Dark Knight clone films or the direction choices of Snyder.

Warner Bros. have royally fucked things up, which is said as I think there could have been so great stories to tell and build up - would loved to see a live action Under The Red HOod which was teased on Batman Vs Superman.

Puss in Boots - 5/10. Nothing to see here, just finishing off the Shrek series!
Blockers - 5/10. Usual cringe worthy American comedy.
Star Trek: First Contact - 6/10.
Girls Trip - 6/10. See Blockers.
    Star Trek: Insurrection - 6/10.
Star Trek: Nemesis - 5/10. The Patrick Stewart movies just aren't very good.
    Jennifer's Body - 4/10.
Star Trek - 8/10. Now this is more like it, the reboot gets it going again.
    Dirty Dancing - 7/10.
Star Trek into Darkness - 7/10.
    Flashdance - 6/10.
    Star Trek Beyond - 7/10.
    Creep - 6/10.
Now You See Me - 8/10. Great film with a decent cast. Had no idea what it was about but enjoyed it.
    Nerve - 7/10.
Now You See Me 2 - 6/10. Worth a watch but nowhere near as good as the original. Should have left it there but I think they're making a third one next year.
Halloween - 7/10. The original, wasn't as good as I thought it'd be.

I watched a good film from 2017 called "Get Out" - no big name actors but the plot really grabs you near the end, got 7.7 on IMDB

Ha, we take in turns to pick films though. I made her watch the Rocky movies for example, though she did enjoy them. Nearly done with old DVDs now so soon get back to watching proper classics!

Do not speak negatively of Steve Irwin to an Australian.

He did make a movie........ rated 5.4/10 on IMDB.

A must watch is The BBQ and Ladies in Black. Great films

    You're Australian?

I haven't spoken negatively, simply saying that you're going off topic yet again.

    Mark,

The Blues Brothers only 7/10? Damn. It's a classic in my book due to INCREDIBLE soundtrack and musicans appearing in it like Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Cab Calloway, etc.

Not to mention, Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi were so damn cool. I still love this movie ^^.

Yeah, it's a good one. I think it's when I've seen a film so many times, the novelty starts to wear off

    That goes without saying.

Any movie with The Rock in it will do me..... his movies are so unrealistic its often laughable

Not as prolific as Mark but here's what I've watched in the last few months!

Why Him? - 5/10 - The world is exactly the same, with or without this boring film.

The Disaster Artist - 7/10 - Really enjoyed it, which is why I then read the book and then watched The Room!

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - 7/10 - Top cast, top director (I love In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths). Didn't expect it to be funny (albeit darkly).

The Room - 5/10 - Loveable garbage. Not as bad as I expected but, yeah, not good.

Game Night - 7/10 - This seems generous in hindsight, must've been some cheap laughs.

Get Out - 7/10 - I might get shouted at for rating this as good as Game Night but there was something missing... the plot was a little telegraphed (presumably dumbed down), I saw it coming.

Aquaman - 4/10 - Two-and-a-half hours... can't imagine how long it'd be if it had any kind of discernible plot. Disclaimers: I don't like superhero films and I watched it hungover in the cinema on New Year's Day.

Being John Malkovich - 8/10 - Can't believe I'd never seen it before, brilliant (also on Netflix if my thorough review tempts you).

Bandersnatch - 5/10 - Don't get it. Format bored me.

Underrated?! It was nominated for seven Oscars (winning two)! Due to that I actually went into it thinking it wouldn't live up to expectation, but it did
