Is Season 1 the European part of the season (start in 01/02 nation) or do you start in 2002, shape the squad for 1 season and then start in 2003 season?

Season 1 is the first proper MLS season (2002), season 2 is the second proper MLS season

The 4 foreigners rule is interesting as well who you choose to go for in the Stevie G role and for squad generally - I was tempted to sell Marcelo as would have got big bucks to spend but him and Krath were superb as FB's

I had some very random options for the Stevie G a one of them was Andy Johnson the striker

I got the player, but I somewhat regret my choice - his attributes are dropping fast! He has played a full season for me now, hope he doesn't retire quite yet.

Something is not quite right with the US league. A few days before the Major League final, I noticed a few of my players were unhappy because they thought we were underachieving. The board were also only "generally satisfied" with my performance, even though I hadn't lost a game all season. Oh well, we won both trophies and everything is back to normal again, but for a moment there I was a bit afraid of getting sacked.

  7. That happens and I've never figured out why.... I was top of the league there but the board didn't like me for the same reason... maybe they only count your success in the playoffs or something.... no idea....

Ehm, I think I might have messed up. Not sure, though.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to take control of LA Galaxy and to sign a European player with at least 1 international cap for a European nation and who is 35 years old or over.

This is a multi-season challenge. Season 1 is a throw-away season…. You get no points but you can use it to make some cash and shape your squad the way you want…. Season 2 is where the fun begins….. you MUST sign your Stevie G prior to the first competitive league game in season 2. That player must be a European with at least 1 cap for a European nation and MUST be 35 years of age or over when you sign him. He is the only player that will generate points for you during this challenge so make your purchase wisely.
My player has a European nationality and is capped for that nation, but I didn't sign him from a European club. Is this still ok? I think it is, but somehow I got confused.

No mess up... you're good.... European nationality, Cap for a European country, 35 years old or over on the day you sign him

Just completed my second scoring season. I hope my guy retires soon, the US league is really boring. Also, shouldn't there be some sort of Champions League to take part in? Concacaf championships...? I haven't seen it.

  21. CONCACAF CL although Tapani might have turned it off if you're using a patch....

MLS winner and US Open Cup winner get in.

Attributes dropping fast! I think I'm going to need a wheelchair for this guy unless he retires soon.

I am trying this, but American league indeed is a mess and not very fun. But, of course, I'll finish it anyway
