    I haven't been able to get into any book since I stopped reading. I want to know what happens afterward

    Read one of James Rollins in book but was just going through the motions.

    I do have book one of the Farseer Trilogy which i'd forgotten I had, looks promising.

    You should read through the Wheel of Time again, you would be surprised by the small things you miss that add to the story. I'm looking at starting Malazan Book of the Fallen or The Black Company next, I haven't started a new series since the last WoT book, getting by on autobiographies and maths books.

    I'm on the Bourne books at the moment, already read the first two and on Bourne Ultimatum now.

    The books are nothing like the films though, the character is still the same but the storyline does not match the films in any way whatsoever.

    I think it's a bad thing really. I think films should be made to match the books as much as possible otherwise, aren't you essentially creating your own film instead of actually basing it on the book?

    Still, in some ways, reading it now, you don't know what's going to happen. For example, in the 3rd book, read the spoiler if you want to know more:

    Spoiler!

    This was mentioned above by Diggler coincidentally but I'm re-reading the Black Company series of books by Glen Cook, great crossover of fantasy/military and one of my favourite ever characters (called Croaker) as the principal narrator, happy days!

    Recently started reading Rivers of London, which is about a policeman who discovers he can see ghosts and use magic. It's much better than it sounds.

    Finished Connie Willis' Doomsday Book. She is the slowest writer I have ever read.

    The wife is reading Baldacci's The Innocent and she's not liking his style of writing, although the plot itself is apparently fine.

    I've finally started a currently 5-part series of books;

    Halfway through the first book and it's smashing. The only problem is that the local library only has the first three books.
