Last year I'd probably have said the same, but the Jacobs fight has put doubts in my mind.

So Golovkin won that right? By 2 rounds probably?

Hmm, not sure how that will go. Good luck to the lad but surely not the best career decision to make for his children as well after what happened to their mum?!

    GGG - Alvarez.
What was that Woman judge doing. 118-110.

    Which fight did she watch?
    Was she paid?

It was never in a million years 118-110 to Canelo.

I was going 118-112 to GGG.

    Disgrace.

    Rant over.

Agreed - though not sure it was as wide as 118-112. Thought Canelo had the first couple of rounds and the last two as well. I worry for GGG though. Eight months waiting for a rematch of a fight you know you won (assuming 5 May) - who knows what that that'll do for his motivation. And he's 35 already. And Canelo has more time to grow into middleweight...

I thought Canelo took 2 of the first 3. and then one drawn round, maybe 5th or 6th.
GGG had him. I think it is irrelevant if Alvarez grows more into middleweight, GGG is the better man.
If there is a rematch, I think GGG will stop him next time.

Enjoyed fight night on Saturday. Wasn't planning on watching it but was fairly decent. Saw Taylor win first, then Takam get knocked down twice despite dominating and then the Dillian Whyte fight went the distance. Had expected Whyte to win though.

Decent watch last night of Fury and Frampton

Fury v Wilder should be a belter later this year

Fury/Wilder should be good. A real clash of styles. Would've rather seen Fury get another tune-up in first but his feet and handspeed looked good. He'll either get KO'd or win on points.

Frampton/Warrington will be a belter too.

Still too early for Fury in his comeback to take the Wilder fight for me, he's the superior boxer no doubt about it but he should have been looking at another 2-3 fights before taking on someone like Wilder, as said above it'll either be Wilder KO or Fury points and even though I'd take Fury over any heavyweight (including AJ) I think this has come too early and Wilder will win by KO, his power and finishing skills are outstanding.

I'll take Frampton over Warrington as well, should be a good fight in the early exchanges but Frampton is the classier operator and fought at a higher level.

Not long till GGG - Canelo 2 now either.

If Fury beats Deontay the fight probably gets made (big if though).

The Fury who beat Wlad could potentially dance around AJ for 12. It'd be an incredible story if he did. But the Fury who got knocked down by Steve Cunningham wouldn't last too long. We'll see what's left of him.

    AJ ducking him well!

Think Wilder too risky for AJ at the mo - take Whyte again Id say but he wants to unify badly for sure!

Can't see how AJ is ducking Fury? The guys a clown and hadn't even fought again properly until a few months ago. He needs to work his way back up to the top if he wants to be serious about fighting AJ for the title.

That's why taking Wilder on will be interesting but I feel it'll be a bit of a joke fight.

AJ has a slot free to fight at Wembley again in March. It should have been Wilder really but given he's now preparing for the Fury fight, I do think it'll be Whyte again.

Another good day out at Wembley btw, went to watch it again and stayed in London this time. Freezing though

If Fury beats Wilder then that's who he'll need to face

True but am sure they'll have announced the next fight for AJ before that Fury v Wilder fight? Only 3 months away though, I suppose.

It also comes down to whether AJ has to fight for his belts before then. Doesn't he only get so much time before he has to accept a mandatory challenger?
