At least Mata and Bony have started well

    Nice work Marko!

Bit of a mixed bag for us. I'm pleased to qualify for the Champs League and win a Prem game, and I suppose there's no shame in losing to Villa. The real problem is the defence. 2 of my 3 first choice DCs injured, my first choice DMC injured and my second choice DC sent off! Be lucky to survive September without at least one thrashing.

Indeed, a bit of a nightmare for you already!

I think Albiol is back already though and Mertesacker is due back anyday. Besic is the worry though and Sokratis is only banned for 1 match in the CL.

Parker for Palace, Lima and Moura for Newcastle, Johnson for Norwich, Mustafi for City. Does my heart well to see ex-villans scoring for you lot... does me better to see my current crop scoring against ye though. Gotta be happy with that start. Although, I do think anything less than us winning at home is poor, playing away is the challenge. Chuffed with the Wham and Swans results all the same!!
Hard luck in the Charity Shield Dermo. It might be a glorified friendly but I'm chuffed to start the season with silverware.

Great write up Mark, I will admit once I made it to West Ham's results, I skipped to Villa's results. I did go back and read thru though. Great stuff.

Edit: Just glanced at the euro squad  Some shocking absentees. Cesc injured for 2 weeks... uh oh. Check out Iniesta average dribble...

What a start to the season for GerMan City. Three wins, plenty of goals and I finish the month at the top. I was worried about the injuries stacking up when I was reading the write up but it's good to know that two out of three players are already back playing. Hopefully we can use this as a good platform to secure a top six finish but it's early days yet.

    Lovely write up Mark

Pleased with the league start although thumping loss to Villa!

6 from 9 points not bad though

Bit of an odd CL group

Napoli have Gareth Bale, Ramos and Felipe Luis!
Bilbao have all greyed out players!

    Managerial Vacancy

The spotlight has once again shone on Crystal Palace as we prepare for our third month of the season. It has not been the best of starts for the Eagles who have had to deal with a manager missing in action for the previous two months. Failure to make an appearance for a third month running has seen the Dream Team League step in and resign Cafcjgreen as manager of the London side.

Whether a replacement will be joining the Dream Team League remains to be seen!

    UEFA Cup - 1st Round - Leg 1 - BATE - H - 6:0 (Huntelaar x2, Ibrahimovic x2, Ocampos, Verratti).
    Premier Division - Watford - A - 2:0 (Ibrahimovic, Ocampos, Ibrahimovic injured) - 11th.
    Premier Division - West Ham - H - 1:1 (Szczesny injured, Muniain) - 10th.
    UEFA Cup - 1st Round - Leg 2 - BATE - A - 2:1 (Huntelaar, Ocampos).
    Premier Division - Chelsea - A - 2:1 (Verratti, Ibrahimovic, Vertonghen sent off) - 9th.

Player of the Month: Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Spurs were kept waiting to play their first game of the month until the 11th and when it came, it came in style as Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Zlatan Ibrahimovic struck twice each along with Marco Verratti and Lucas Ocampos also scoring his first Tottenham goal in an impressive 6:0 win over BATE. Another win followed where Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the opener but was injured four minutes later while Lucas Ocampos scored once more. Ibrahimovic would then be ruled out for 2 weeks due to a thigh strain. Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny had been given his chance this month but was injured after just 6 minutes with strained knee ligaments in a draw against West Ham where Spurs fell behind before Iker Muniain got the equaliser with his first Spurs goal. Ocampos then scored against BATE once more as did Huntelaar as they were beaten 8:1 on aggregate to put ajvonkrondor into the next round. The importance of Verratti and Ibrahimovic scoring early at Chelsea was highlighted when Jan Vertonghen was sent off after just 36 minutes but Spurs managed to hold on to see the month out with victory.

    Premier Division - Liverpool - A - 2:1 (Kiessling, Giaccherini) - 9th.
    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group E - PSG - H - 3:2 (Navas injured, Kiessling x2, Rakitic) - 2nd.
    Premier Division - Swansea - H - 1:1 (Modric, Kiessling injured) - 7th.
    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group E - Red Bull Salzburg - A - 1:1 (Giaccherini) - 2nd.
    Premier Division - Tottenham - A - 1:1 (Douglas Costa, Giaccherini injured) - 9th.
    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group E - Benfica - A - 2:1 (Rakitic) - 2nd.
    Premier Division - Man City - H - 0:1 - 10th.

Player of the Month: Muhamed Besic.

BobMem has had a decent enough start to the season and that continued at Liverpool where vinjwoods was beaten easily by goals from Stefan Kiessling and Emmanuele Giaccherini with the latter scoring on his first start of the season. The big German striker was the hero in the next match as BobMem's group stages got going with a late winner by Kiessling who also initially cancelled out PSG's opening goal. Ivan Rakitic scored in between to win 3:2 against a team consisting of James, Neymar and Mario Gotze! Injuries were starting to become a problem and it was the case again with key player Kiessling injured in a 1:1 draw against Swansea where Luka Modric had scored before a late Swansea leveller. A draw at Red Bull Salzburg in the next fixture could have been seen as a bad result after leading 1:0 but Per Mertesacker was sent off after 31 minutes which means West Ham did well to hang on as the hosts scored three minutes after that red card. A decent point was earned at Tottenham where Douglas Costa had opened the scoring but Emmanuele Giaccherini, who'd been in good form, was injured with a pulled hamstring that'd rule him out for a month. A first defeat in Europe was tasted at Benfica where Rakitic scored too late to leave West Ham second in the table. The least entertaining game of the day took place against Man City with both teams managing 5 shots between them as Jesus emerged the victor thanks to a penalty given away by Allan McGregor

    First Division - Huddersfield - A - 3:1 (Michu, Cardenas, Josue) - 1st.
    First Division - Cardiff - H - 3:1 (Cardozo, Diego Renan, Michu) - 1st.
    First Division - Rotherham - A - 2:1 (Michu, Caligiuri) - 1st.
    League Cup - 2nd Round - Fleetwood - A - 4:0 (Cardozo, Almeida, Michu, Michel Bastos).
    First Division - Wigan - H - 3:0 (Cardozo, Caligiuri, Michu) - 1st.
    First Division - Nottm Forest - H - 2:2 (Cardozo, Michu) - 1st.
    First Division - Leeds - A - 2:1 (Caligiuri, Michu) - 1st.

    Player of the Month: Michu.

Having been temporarily pushed into 3rd after pyromyst's Friday night win in the league, Craig Forrest saw Michu score a 6th goal in 6 starts along with Jose Maria Cardenas and Josue earn Ipswich a 3:1 win over Huddersfield to move into top spot. Michu made it 7 in 7 in the 3:1 win at Cardiff as Neri Cardozo found the net along with Diego Renan scoring his first goal. Michu kept it up in the next game at Rotherham with Daniel Caligiuri scoring a first goal of the season as Ipswich went 4 points clear at the top with a game in hand. Craig Forrest then recorded one of the bigger wins of the night in the League Cup as Fleetwood were knocked out by Ipswich with Andre Almeida and Michel Bastos scoring for the first time along with Michu and Cardozo. Wigan were then not allowed a single shot in 90 minutes as they were beaten 3:0 with goals from Cardozo, Caligiuri and Michu who has now reached 10 goals in 10 games. Nottm Forest then led twice at Portman Road but Neri Cardozo's 5th of the season and Michu helped Ipswich to save a point and remain undefeated. Caligiuri scored again at Leeds but there is really no stopping Michu who got a 12th in 12 starts to help Ipswich win 2:1 and go 6 points clear of pyromyst in 2nd place.

    Premier Division - Watford - H - 3:1 (Bony, Fabinho injured, Pastore, Koke) - 8th.
    UEFA Cup - 1st Round - Leg 1 - Tiraspol - 3:0 (Mirza own goal, Geuvanio x2).
    Premier Division - Newcastle - A - 0:2 - 13th.
    Premier Division - Hull - H - 2:2 (de Marcos, Bony) - 12th.
    UEFA Cup - 1st Round - Leg 2 - Tiraspol - 1:0 (Bony).

Player of the Month: Cristian Ansaldi.

After a slow start, Dermotron records a convincing win over Watford with Cristian Ansaldi once again stealing the show as Wilfried Bony, Javier Pastore and a first goal of the season by Koke earns Southampton victory over Watford although Fabinho had to be taken off with a broken toe. Geuvanio was handed a chance in the first team by Dermotron and he'll be pleased to see the Brazilian score twice in a 3:0 win over Tiraspol in the UEFA Cup. Southampton then lost at Newcastle in which a draw could have been a fair result but for Newcastle's Diego Cavalieri being in inspired form. Southampton then came from a goal down twice against Hull as Oscar de Marcos and Wilfried Bony helped Dermotron to a point. Another Bony goal, his 5th of the season, then earned Southampton a 4:0 aggregate win over Tiraspol to go into the 2nd Round of the UEFA Cup.

    Premier Division - Hull - H - 0:1 - 7th.
    Premier Division - Man Utd - A - 1:1 - 7th.
    League Cup - 2nd Round - Colchester - A - 2:0 (Wisdom x2).
    Premier Division - Everton - H - 2:0 (Johnson, Hooper) - 7th.
    Premier Division - Newcastle - A - 0:0.

Player of the Month: Jack Butland.

Losing at home to Hull at the start of the season could have been cause for concern for ebfatz but he'll be happy with his players as they did all they can to win the game and were the better side against trunky's Hull. Not many people gave Norwich a chance at Man Utd though but Darren Fletcher scored against his former side to earn ebfatz a surprise point. Progress into the next round of the League Cup then followed from an unlikely source as Andre Wisdom scored twice to knock Colchester out of the competition. The consistency was kept up with a good win over Everton with Glen Johnson and Gary Hooper helping ebfatz to three points. A draw then followed against Mark which would seem a fair result but ebfatz will not be happy at playing against 10 men for 55 minutes.

    Premier Division - Middlesbrough - H - 2:1 (Rooney, Iniesta) - 2nd.
    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group F - Leverkusen - H - 3:1 (Rooney, Iniesta, Khedira) - 2nd.
    Premier Division - Everton - A - 2:0 (Iniesta, Vietto) - 2nd.
    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group F - Ajax - A - 1:0 (Rooney, Abdennour sent off) - 1st.
    Premier Division - Newcastle - H - 3:1 (Rooney, Robben x2) - 1st.
    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group F - Dnipro - H - 5:0 (Rooney x3, Iniesta, Honda) - 1st.
    Premier Division - Hull - A - 1:0 (Rooney) - 2nd.

Player of the Month: Nikola Maksimovic.

Nice and simple was the order of the day for Aston Villa as Erkifino saw Wayne Rooney and Andres Iniesta help to start the month with a win over Middlesbrough. The duo struck again to help the club to victory in the opening group game in the Champions League over Leverkusen with Sami Khedira also scoring a first of the season. Rooney couldn't keep it up at Everton but Iniesta did along with Luciano Vietto to keep the pressure up on leaders Man City. Rooney was back on the scoresheet in the Champions League though to score an important goal at Ajax with Aston Villa being left with 10 men for 47 minutes after Aymen Abdennour's first half red card. Having touched the summit in Europe, Erkifino then did likewise in the Premiership after defeating Mark with Rooney scoring and Arjen Robben opening his account with a brace. It's looking easy in the Champions League as Dnipro were thrashed 5:0. Keisuke Honda scored his first Villa goal, Iniesta got his 5th and Rooney scored a hat-trick! With Jesus having returned to top spot after a Monday night game, all Aston Villa could do was keep winning and they did that as Rooney helped to beat trunky 1:0 and stay a point behind Man City.

    Premier Division - Crystal Palace - A - 1:1 - 14th.
    Premier Division - Aston Villa - H - 0:2 - 15th.
    League Cup - 2nd Round - Charlton - H - 3:0 (Graham x2, Isla).
    Premier Division - Norwich - A - 1:2 (Vidal) - 16th.
    Premier Division - Sunderland - H - 0:0 - 16th.

Player of the Month: Mauricio Isla.

Fodster was the first to play a managerless Crystal Palace but will have been disappointed with the performance in a 1:1 draw with Will Hughes stepping off the bench to score an equaliser. A subdued performance then followed against the title defenders as Everton lost 2:0 and dropped down a place. A win finally came in the League Cup as Danny Graham struck twice along with Mauricio Isla as both got off the mark for the season to knock Charlton out. Everton certainly looked a lot better at Norwich but were on the wrong end of a 2:1 scoreline as Arturo Vidal scored late on. A goalless draw against Sunderland was a good opportunity to get away from the bottom three but instead, Fodster stays 16th with just one win in seven matches to date.

    Premier Division - Leicester - A - 4:0 (Aguero, Belhanda, Coentrao injured, Jese, Negredo) - 2nd.
    UEFA Cup - 1st Round - Leg 1 - Club Brugge - H - 3:1 (Chiellini, Jese, Wendt sent off, Belhanda).
    Premier Division - Norwich - H - 1:1 (D.Silva) - 4th.
    Premier Division - Sunderland - A - 4:0 (Negredo, Jese x2, Dzagoev) - 2nd.
    UEFA Cup - 1st Round - Leg 2 - Club Brugge - A - 4:0 (Pedro x2, Dzagoev, Aguero injured, Jese).
    Premier Division - Crystal Palace - H - 3:0 (Dzagoev, Jese, Deulofeu) - 3rd.

    Player of the Month: Jese.

First appearances of the season by Younes Belhanda and Jese resulted in goals at Leicester where Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo also got on the scoresheet to put Janis89 2nd in the table. A damaged foot for Fabio Coentrao was a blow though. Belhanda and Jese both found the net again against Club Brugge as Man Utd's UEFA Cup campaign got started along with Giorgio Chiellini whereas Oscar Wendt was sent off. A 1:1 draw against ebfatz followed in which Janis89 should have won having seen David Silva take the lead. A win did follow against Sunderland though and an easy one at that as Alan Dzagoev scored his first goal for Janis89 while Negredo scored again and Jese scored twice. The demolition job of Club Brugge then carried on as Pedro scored twice and Dzagoev and Jese got one each in a 7:1 aggregate win. A twisted knee for Aguero overshadowed the win though. An unbeaten month was then confirmed as Dzagoev, Jese and Gerard Deulofeu beat Cafcjgreen's former side Crystal Palace.

    Premier Division - Chelsea - H - 4:1 (Volland, Schurrle x2, Lasogga) - 1st.
    Premier Division - Middlesbrough - A - 2:2 (Sam, Aogo) - 1st.
    League Cup - 2nd Round - Crawley - H - 3:1 (Lasogga, Volland, Castro).
    Premier Division - Watford - H - 4:0 (Volland x2, Gundogan injured, Lasogga, Sam) - 1st.
    Premier Division - West Ham - A - 1:0 (Leitner) - 1st.

Player of the Month: Dennis Aogo.

The newly christened GerMan City continue a fine start to the season with a dominating performance against Liam's Chelsea with Kevin Volland scoring a 4th in 4 starts, Andre Schurrle bagging a brace and Pierre-Michel Lasogga scoring the final goal in a 4:1 win. Man City were then made to pay for a disastrous start as although Sidney Sam and Dennis Aogo scored their first goals of the season at Middlesbrough, a 2:2 draw saw their lead at the top cut down to a point. Crawley were then easily beaten with Lasogga, Volland and Gonzalo Castro scoring in a 3:1 win with the latter being his first Man City goal on his debut. Man City then played Watford on Monday night having lost top spot to Aston Villa but returned with a 4:0 win as Volland scored twice to make it 7 in 7 and Lasogga and Sam added their names to the scoresheet. Despite a boring match, a penalty from Moritz Leitner earns Jesus a win over BobMem to keep Man City at the top by a single point.

    Premier Division - Man City - A - 1:4 (Young) - 17th.
    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group A - Atletico Madrid - H - 3:3 (Chicharito x2, Kuyt) - 3rd.
    Premier Division - Derby - H - 2:0 (Chicharito x2, Sakai injured) - 13th.
    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group A - Feyenoord - A - 0:0 - 3rd.
    Premier Division - Swansea - A - 1:2 (Chicharito) - 14th.
    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group A - Monaco - A - 2:1 (Chicharito x2)- 2nd.
    Premiership - Tottenham - H - 1:2 (Young) - 14th.

Player of the Month: Willy Caballero.

A 4:1 thrashing by Man City at the start of the month could have been disheartening, particularly as the result left Chelsea just outside the bottom three but Liam has the time to turn things around. Indeed, it looked like they were set for victory in the Champions League with Chicharito and Dirk Kuyt giving them a 2:0 lead over Atletico Madrid only for the Spaniards to then go 3:2 up but for Chicarito scoring a late equaliser. A win arrived at last against Derby where Chicharito struck twice which left him on 8 goals in 7 starts. Gotoku Sakai though was injured with a gashed leg. Chelsea then endured a tough 0:0 draw at Feyenoord where Vedran Corluka was sent off right at the death. Chicharito then scored at Swansea but Chelsea lost the lead and the game as Redknapp69 won 2:1. Qualification hopes in Europe were kept alive with a hard-fought win at Monaco where Chicharito scored twice to underline his value to the club. The month was then capped with defeat to ajvonkrondor but Liam will no doubt feel that Chelsea could have got something out of the game having seen Tottenham reduced to 10 men after 36 minutes.

    Premier Division - Sunderland - A - 0:0 - 4th.
    Premier Division - Southampton - H - 2:0 (Lucas Moura, Pato, Diego Souza injured) - 3rd.
League Cup - 2nd Round - Notts Co - A - 2:3 (Giuliano, Elias, Diego Cavalieri sent off).
    Premier Division - Aston Villa - A - 1:3 (Pato) - 5th.
    Premier Division - Norwich - H - 0:0 (Luisao sent off) - 7th.

Player of the Month: Roberto Firmino.

A chance to get some points on the board went missing as Mark only managed a bore draw in the Toon-Wear Derby. A tough game against Southampton followed but Newcastle managed a win with goals from Lucas Moura and Pato and recorded a third clean sheet in a row. Diego Cavalieri had enjoyed a fine start to the season for Newcastle but was at fault when Newcastle took a 2:0 lead through Giuliano and Elias at Notts Co in the League Cup only for the goalkeeper to be sent off and the team to give away two penatlies for the Second Division side to win 3:2 in extra time. Pato scored at Villa Park but Erkifino's team were too good for Newcastle who lost their first league game of the season and dropped to 5th place. Red cards are costing Mark this month as Luisao was sent off in the 35th minute against ebfatz but his team held on for a point.

    First Division - Blackburn - A - 4:1 (McDonald, Laba, Pandev x2, Alfaro) - 2nd.
    First Division - QPR - H - 1:3 (Riviere) - 4th.
    First Division - Wolves - A - 4:2 (Vossen x3, Pandev) - 3rd.
    League Cup - 2nd Round - Sheff Utd - A - 2:1 (Riviere, McDonald).
    First Division - Sheff Wed - H - 4:1 (Riviere, Sinclair, Valentin, Hurmaci) - 3rd.
    First Division - Burnley - H - 2:2 (Riviere x2) - 3rd.
    First Division - Birmingham - A - 3:1 (Vossen x2, Halliche) - 2nd.

Player of the Month: Jelle Vossen.

Having given Kevin McDonald his first start of the season at Blackburn, pyromyst starts the month in style with McDonald scoring along with Miguel Laba, Goran Pandev (x2) and Emiliano Alfaro in a 5:1 rout at Blackburn that puts Fulham into 2nd place. With injuries hitting his squad, pyromyst lost 3:1 at home to QPR with Emmanuel Riviere scoring his 5th of the season for nothing. The players bounced back with an impressive win at Wolves where Goran Pandev scored but the headlines went to Jelle Vossen for a hat-trick. Riviere and McDonald then ensured passage to the 3rd Round of the League Cup in a 2:1 win at Sheff Utd. Omar Hurmaci and Zarek Valentin then chose a good time to score their first goals of the season along with Riviere and Scott Sinclair to beat Sheff Wed and move up to 3rd. Two goals from Riviere then put Fulham in a position to defeat Burnley until they equalised with 5 minutes left. Fulham finally returned to 2nd place after Vossen struck twice along with Rafik Halliche to beat Birmingham 2:1!

    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group D - Napoli - H - 4:2 (Reid, Alexis Sanchez x2, Welbeck) - 1st.
    Premier Division - West Ham - A - 1:1 (Suarez) - 8th.
    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group D - Shakhtar Donetsk - A - 1:2 (Reus) - 1st.
    Premier Division - Chelsea - H - 2:1 (Welbeck, Alexis Sanchez) - 8th.
    Champions Cup - Phase 1 - Group D - Athletic Bilbao - H - 2:0 (Welbeck, Lucas) - 1st.
    Premier Division - Derby - H - 4:0 (Alexis Sanchez x2, Suarez, Jovetic) - 5th.

Player of the Month: Alexis Sanchez.

A brace from Alexis Sanchez earned Swansea a win in the Champions League over Napoli along with first goals of the season by Winston Reid and Danny Welbeck. Luis Suarez finally scored his first goal for the club at the 5th time of asking in a 1:1 draw at West Ham where Swansea were mostly second best and were thankful to Suarez for a late equaliser. The Champions League campaign took a blow with defeat in Ukraine where Marco Reus' goal came too late to salvage anything against Shakhtar Donetsk. The Swans then remained in 8th place despite a win over Liam after Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez had helped Swansea to come back from 1:0 down. Welbeck seems to be on fire this month and scored again as Swansea bounced back from the Shakhtar Donetsk defeat with a 2:0 win over Athletic Bilbao to stay top of their group with Lucas scoring the other goal. Alexis Sanchez is another man in form this month after scoring twice in a 4:0 win over Derby along with Suarez and Steven Jovetic getting his first Swansea goal.

    Premier Division - Norwich - A - 1:0 (Pereira injured, N'Doye injured, Leandro Castan) - 3rd.
    Premier Division - Liverpool - H - 3:1 (Hulk x2, Fernandez) - 3rd.
    League Cup - 2nd Round - Cambridge Utd - H - 4:1 (Ucan, Nocerino, Jean, Szalai).
    Premier Division - Southampton - A - 2:2 (Chiriches, Herrera, Herrera injured) - 4th.
    Premier Division - Aston Villa - H - 0:1 - 6th.

Player of the Month: Sebastien Corchia.

trunky's Hull had to fight for the win at Norwich in which Leandro Castan scored the only goal of the game but it came at a price as Alvaro Pereira was injured with a bruised shin and Dame N'Doye suffered a calf strain. A thriller of a game followed against Liverpool where Hulk found the net twice along with a first Hull goal for Augusto Fernandez that puts trunky 3rd in the table! It's going very well indeed for Hull as Antonio Nocerino, Jean and Adam Szalai all score their first goals of the season along with Salih Ucan in a 4:1 win over Cambridge United to progress in the League Cup. Ander Herrera then returned to haunt Dermotron as he and Vlad Chiriches put trunky ahead twice at St. Mary's but the club are forced to settle for a point. The quality of Aston Villa then proved too strong for Hull as they were beaten 1:0 to drop into 6th place.

    Premier Division - West Ham - H - 1:2 (Helenius) - 18th.
    Premier Division - Hull - A - 1:3 (Mowatt) - 18th.
    League Cup - 2nd Round - Accrington - A - 4:1 (Lukaku x2, Smith, Ramirez).
    Premier Division - Middlesbrough - H - 3:1 (Uysal x3) - 18th.
    Premier Division - Watford - A - 1:0 (Uysal, Smith sent off) - 15th.

Player of the Month: Alex Teixeira.

Liverpool's season has yet to get going and that remained the case after a 2:1 defeat with Nicklas Helenius reminding everyone he was still at the club with a late goal. vinjwoods' luck did not change in the next match where Hull ran riot in a 3:1 win despite Alex Mowatt scoring first for Liverpool. Fans were hoping that a 4:1 win over Accrington will help to turn things around as Romelu Lukaku scored twice and Tommy Smith and Gaston Ramirez grabbed the other goals with all three players scoring for the first time this season. Necip Uysal was then a surprise hero as he scored a hat-trick to help vinjwoods to a first Premier Division win of the season against Middlesbrough but Liverpool stay 18th. The change of fortunes continued with victory over Watford where Uysal scored again and despite Smith being sent off, Watford also had a player sent off which helped vinjwoods to win and move out of the bottom three at last.

Great work with this write up Mark, excellent.

Chicarito has a great month for me but Player of the month is Armero...Looking forward to seeing why! My tactic change obviously didn't work too well for me, wanted to play Konoplyanka...Going to have to explore options here.

Or just go for the Palace job!!

I forgot to update those notes about player of the season. It's been changed now. Chelsea's is Willy Caballero.

I'd stick it out at Chelsea. Palace don't have a better squad and they have less to spend. Chelsea don't have a bad squad, AMC had them top until the final 2 months last season.

It seems we have two nr 1's. Either that, or Ipswich manager is manipulating the tables.

Hmmm, another mixed month for West Ham, although it always looked very tough on paper.

A win, 2 draws and a loss in the Prem, but all against human teams.
A win, a draw, a loss in the Champs League, although 2 of the 3 away from home.

Steady, but nothing more than that.

Jesus and Erk leading the way, both having strong months. Looks to be a good scrap for the league title this season.
Great work on the in-depth write-up Mark

Pity about that Villa loss but it was to be expected given their quality.

Apart from that, a good month, cheers for the write up Mark!

Well, yes... Craig Forrest (Ipswich) and pyromyst (Fulham) are in the First Division. Did you honestly not realise that?

My fingers are actually aching after typing all that. I may have to go into less detail next time!

Great write up as usual Mark.
    Really good.

Not a bad month for Norwich either.

I'd have taken that if you'd have offered it to me.

DON'T YOU EVEN DARE!!! I look forward to your write ups every week...If I didn't have this to look forward to, I'd actually have to do work...at work... While you're at it, add me to your first post. Actually do something around here Mark, you're lagging.
