The Mandalorean - caught the first three eps and was pleasantly surprised by it. Now, apart from TFA, I haven't enjoyed any SW media since the OT. But imho this show gets a lot of thing right. Scrappy characters and scrappy tech. A sombre tone with sparks of dry humour. And a seemingly complex and conflicted main. Not too impressed by the score though, seems trying too hard to be "epic" and dominate some scenes. And don't get me started on the "Toy" - but hey, it's Disney so what can one expect... So far so good though

From someone heavily invested in the SW world and community.... this show has united the fan base like the original trilogy did. Of course there will be things to pick at..... but if Favreau and Filoni are heading up the creative aspects of future SW projects, then the majority of us will be very, very happy

The Witcher - a massive fan of the series, and only started watching recently, onto 3rd episode, but damn! It's good.

Cavill so better as Geralt than Superman - though he never had a competent director or film. Hopefully rest will be as good

I still think of Favreau as him in Friends

Started on Curb Your Enthusiasm last night. One of those shows that I've always been aware of and is often recommended to me, but I never got to it. Now it's on demand on that new Sky Comedy channel, so I don't have to seek it out!

Sky Comedy looks pretty decent, incidentally - 30 Rock, Ballers, Eastbound & Down, The Mindy Project, Modern Family, The Office, Parks & Recreation, Veep...

It's alright, not laughing out loud or anything but I'm willing to give it a chance (only on the fourth episode). I actually thought it'd be more than 10 seasons when I saw that it started in 2000!

Started watching Curb Your Enthusiasm before Christmas, halfway through season 2.

Agree with riise that it's not laugh out loud funny, just awkward scenario after awkward scenario with increasing levels of shouting.

I'll stick with it for now as a break from documentaries/films...

Found this now... and it has 6 seasons already.

    Schitt's Creek https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3526078/
    From American Pie's Eugene Levy

Pretty decent and we all need a good laugh these days.

    "Unbelievable" on Netflix

Good - but the 8 episodes could have been done in 4 really - bit long and drawn out for my liking

Finished watching season 2 of Ozark.

It's no Breaking Bad (at all!) but give us that whole vibe.

Jason Bateman is one helluva actor. Always enjoyed his precise timing at comedy and he can also deliver at more serious roles.

I like Ozark, watched the first season when it came out but only got round to the second season a couple of months ago, so I’m raring to go for the third season! Got too much in rotation atm though - Power, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Plus I’m gonna watch that Tiger King that everyone is buzzing about on Netflix!

Finished The Tiger King, fairly entertaining overall - heard about another documentary called McMillions (on HBO) that we will be checking out next.

I continue with Curb Your Enthusiasm, close to the end of season 3, still moderately funny, still overly shouty...

I remember reading about McMillions when it was in production, will be sure to watch it when it’s readily available.

Similar for me with Curb, but it serves as relief between watching ‘heavier’ series (I take a break between seasons of shows like Power to avoid binge-watching 20 hours in two days and not really remembering what’s going on).
