Kowalinho has again been called up to the Poland Under 21 squad for games against Belarus and Iceland. Our newly converted striker has yet to earn his first cap at that level.

Kowalinho will be out of action for about ten days after suffering a gashed leg in the 0:0 draw to Derby.

It will rule the striker out for just one game - The FA Cup match at Tottenham.

Kowalinho will be out of action for about 3 weeks after suffering strained knee ligaments in the 2:1 win over Q.P.R.

It's a blow for the striker who had only just got back into the team, scoring a goal before injury. Kowalinho is now set to miss games against Sheff Wed, West Brom, Stoke and possibly Millwall.

    The Gaffer's Comments
The biggest surprise this season had been Kowalinho's decision to switch from being a goalkeeper to a striker despite starring in his professional debut season last year. It's certainly a big gamble but one that looked to have paid off with a decent pre-season that saw him start the season up front. With that in mind, getting five goals in the Championship isn't a bad start (it's still more than Bevchenko managed! Sorry Bev!), but the Polish striker had to contend with the machine that is AJ up front as well. Injuries too, didn't help the cause as Kowalinho twice got injured during matches. What will be his position for next season?

1/3 strike rate Kowa - looks good to me given you were a GK last year!
