Great win, Feis is fast becoming a legend!

Shame it's not worked out with Johnson, were you playing him at RB or RCB?

    Feies with an immense start!

    Glen played RB

Was great for a couple of seasons but Lee Andrews took his chance BIG TIME and never looked back

Then when Glen came in he suffered poor performances

But by then he was pissed that we rejected some bids

    Shame

Home to Chelsea in the 1st Leg of the League Cup Semi Final!

    Team News

Liverpool away in the league in 3 days time

But this is a Semi Final so we do go strong

Salas and Symes back in partnership – Vittek on bench

Rustico in for Pisani at LB as Hargreaves stays as RB

Blondel and Bellamy flank Feies in midfield. Bellamy needs to start picking up form otherwise his place is severly under threat

    The Game

"Chelsea capitulate as the Jack Army fans are booking their tickets to Wembley already!"

Blondel justifies his inclusion straight away as he scores within 10 minutes when heading in Hargeaves’s angled ball

And in the most one sided half Swans finally get the deserved 2nd right on stroke of HT as Feies scores a stunner from a Salas assist

2nd half is a quieter affair. It seems like both sides accept the 2-0 scoreline but Chelsea have come into it more

I make a few subs to toughen things up and it works and so much so we even get a 3rd goal when Bowyer is tripped in the area, Chelsea down to 10 and Feies sots the home

3-0 – surely job done and another final for Swansea?

Feies again MOM – what a start to his Swansea career!

    Spoiler!

Tight 2nd semi final with very few chances – all to play for 2nd leg there

    Competitor Results

Oi Oi – Man Utd LOSE in the league with their game in hand – WOOOOOOT!

    Player Watch

Looks like the media believe our summer recruit is looking a fine prospect……….

The team is on fire since Feies joined, great result again.

And your nemesis Millwall helped you by beating Manu, what a day !

Yeah - right back in the groove now - Feies

Good spot on Millwall - everyone hates them (except me today for that result!)

Clearly right to be playing Kai in the middle of the three.

Wahahaha - dunno if luck or judgement but I couldn't ignore that "20" for passing!

Davies has his work cut out getting back in now!

WELSHmen getting less in first XI - miht have to promote youngsters to bench soon!

what is the closest gas station to my location

Away to 5th place Liverpool who are maybe underperforming this season

Being hovering around Top 4 but they still have some top top players in Gerrard, Owen, Van Bommel, Riise, Lucio and Robben etc

    Team News

Blackburn away in a few days time but squad looks strong and fresh so no real changes given form we are in

Pisani in at LB – neither him or Rustico are performing when given a chance at the moment. Hargreaves would play there but with Lee Andrews out we are struggling there as well with Glen Johnson gone and Paulo Ferreira as eell not playing well when give opportunities

We revert back to a strike force that know Liverpool well in Salas and Symes Vittek on bench but ready to make an impact – all are in fine form and confidence booming!

    The Game

"Flat, flat, flat performance against 10 men at Anfield leads to dropped points!"

Well, Vittek on bench wasn’t for long when Salas hobbles off injured after 25 mins

We were not happy with the challenge on Salas with Feies sticking up for his mate when he then gets HEADBUTTED by Brechet and he see’s red!

Foot on gas then for rest of first half but don’t really fashion a great opportunity but let’s attack the shite out of them 2nd half!

But it’s an awful half – Liverpool hold VERY firm and so much so we do not even muster ONE shot in the ENTIRE 2nd HALF

Make some last ditch subs to change SOMETHING but feck all happens

A point at Anfield isn’t usually bad but today that’s not the case

Sometimes you have to give credit to the opposition and they were solid as fook fair play - proper seige mentality

    Spoiler!

We get VERY lucky as Man Utd draw, while Spurs and Newcastle both lose! – PHEW!

    Injury News

Nooooooooooooooooo – MASSIVE blow this for a long period of time

But we are well stocked in that area with the likes of Keane and Tevez not even in the squad today!

While Koumas will miss at least the next 2 games - not ideal for the WELSH quota!

    Award News

I take the plaudits for previous month

    Champions League Selection News

Blondel, Feies and Vittek are NOT eligible to be in our squad which is a big blow

So – they will certainly play in the league/cup games before any CL games!

Ok, when you see the notes of the whole Liverpool defensive block (all between 8 and 9), you are forced to concede they performed brilliantly after the sending off.

In this regard you should not slam yourself or the team. A point is a point and it's one more match in which you didn't concede

It's not always easy to win against ten men. I just sounds much easier than it really is.

Plus Man Utd keep dropping points,

Wow, barely had a shot against 10 men. Certainly came up against a brick wall, for sure!

You'd be happy with a point before I suspect so you'd take that.

Salas a bit of a blow but as you say, plenty of other options.

You're gonna have to find a couple of half decent Welshmen soon it seems.

Very true - I was just frustrated at the time

We're all fecking dropping points in the league this year - good Utd did though as they've been on a helluva run!

Aye - away point to a rival is fine

Salas is a Mahoosive blow - he's been on recently (about 35+ and contract running out)

Well, we signed 2 young WELSH kids with good potential - we're have to have them on the bench soon!

But we do have the Everton WELSH defender (who i'll likely stick in first choice DC) but think that's a bosman deal at EOS

Away to 14th place Blackburn who look safe from relegation but languishing bottom half

We’ve done well against them over the years………

    Team News

Wigan in league in 5 days time so depending on squad fitness it’s full out here!

Vittek in for the injured Salas – Keane back on bench

Lee Andrews back from injury so straight into RB and Hargreaves back to LB

Davies in for Blondel in Midfield and we make some experienced bench choices in Pizarro and Giggs

    The Game

"Swansea TWICE come back from losing positions against another low block team but it’s a day when more points are dropped in a topsy turvy league campiagn!"

After a sticky start when Blackburn lose Todd to injury, they get a perfect lift when Michael bridges puts team ahead with first shot midway through first half! He gets on the end of a free kick move!

But not to be deterred, we’re all over them and deservedly get back on track before half time through Symes who heads home from a Bowyer corner

Vittek has a niggle so Keane replaces just after HT

But Blackburn again go ahead from a counter attack move and sucker punch us!

Thankfully we get back on even terms through Keane who latched onto a Davies pass to make it 2-2

Both teams have chances for the winner as the game ends in an exciting draw!

Ex Pool player John Welsh is the star of a fine low block performance from Blackburn

    Spoiler!

Liverpool draw and win their 2 games, Man Utd win but Spurs lose

Man Utd now level with us on points……….

    Reputation Update

Well thought of in UK but still work to do in Europe……………

Glad to see Symes has recovered his scoring shoes.

Top of the table is tight with all teams losing unexpected points. A thriller season so far

Home to 16th place Wigan who are climbing away from the relegation zone!

They were rock bottom but are on the march now!

And they have the CM 01/02 legend that is Lee Young Pyo!

    Team News

No game for EIGHT days after this!

We need a fecking win here after 2 draws!

Hargreaves is suspended so Pisani comes in for him

Bellamy comes into midfield in place of Blondel and O’Donnell comes in for Matthew Jones who’s had a couple of quiet games

    The Game

"An early goal and another red card leads to the cigars out at the Vetch Field!"

Well, it’s arguably game over after 2 minutes when Feies hits a hopeful shot and it evades the keeper who’s off his line to put us 1 up in 2 minutes!

Straight away Richards kicks out at goalscorer Feies (that’s 2nd time in 3 games Feies has been kicked and headbutted and opponents have ben down to 10 men

We take full advantage by scoring 2 more goals in a great 1st half – Vittek with a belter volley and Symes plays in Bowyer (usually the assister!) for a neat finish

Job done by HT I’d say!

Thankfully it is as it’s a bit of a slack 2nd half from us as we ring the changes – even Yepes comes on for some minutes – and when he does we leave in a consolation goal at the end

But the most comfortable of wins though

Good to see Vittek back in the goals today

    Spoiler!

Man Utd and Spurs both win – but is it a 2 horse race now?

    Media Speculation

Allegedly O’Donnell has stated he is flattered by some interest being shown in happy and woud be open to a move

We flatly deny he is leaving the club

I have a word him in private and tell him to speak to me and not the press in future. I also tell him he’s very much part of my future plans and would like to discuss a new contract – but he wishes to keep his options open at the moment……….

Feies must have a face you want to punch, I think

Good win to stay top of the table

Henchoz not playing anymore I guess it was inevitable, what with his age. Time to come back to Switzerland and play with the Seniors
