Away to Liverpool in Premier League – HUGE game even at this early stage

The Kop is full of colour and voice……….

    Team News

    League team back in place

Bellamy loses his place on the bench to Vittek

    Tevez captain!

    The Game

"Swansea’ s 10 men hold out for 90 minutes to record a most impressive victory against their title rival!

Feck sake – 4 minutes and for no reason Lee Bowyer swings a punch at the Liverpool goalkeeper Ashton – RED CARD!

Feck sake! Tevez drops back into AM/F and Feies also drops back into CM

We hold our own and both teams have same shots on target by half time

Vieira booked and having a poor game – just 1 tackle won from 6!

Matthew Jones on – how we need our leader now!

And by fook does he come to the party! Following a push by Gerrard on Tevez. Vaughan takes the free kick and Jones leaps above everyone else to head home!

Yes – Liverpool do then create some pressure and a few chances but Langfield is imperious and also we are a threat on the break

But we are holding on at full time – WHAT A WIN!

Captain’s performance from Jones but Langfield was the main reason we kept that clean sheet!

    Spoiler!

    Important win that!

    Board Feedback

Swans Trust are delighted with recent performances!

    Suspension News

The muppet is banned for FOUR games as well – deserved for such abhorrent action

He was fine TWO weeks wages and accepts it

    Award News

    - and 2 in a row!

    Next Fixture

Next up is Cardiff in the League Cup – and our scouts think they are a bag ‘o’ shit!

    That is some win!!

As long as you don't lose the next home game against an easy opponent, of course.

    Stay focussed!

    Pathetic team!

I love it when that comes up. Usually reserved for when you choose to play some dross in pre season.

I must say I'm really happy to see Feies at the top of your diamond now. He will excel there.
And good to see you still top, despite not playing your best in all games recently, you are still up there, that's a good sign!

    WOW!

Great win and Langfield Don't know why but I just think the guy seems to be a top goalkeeper.

Bowyer, always a risk of a red card with him. Good to see he's taken his punishment like a man!

Helluva win - Langfield has been IMMENSE since coming in (and has been very good whenever he got opportunities before that)

Has the No.1 spot nailed down now (Yury will play CL and cups etc)

Aye - Bowyer always has that in him

Age could be a factor now - he's been shite so far this season - about 6.4 average

Won't be getting back in quickly either sitting out FOUR games!

Yeah - it is usually against the shite so great that it was that way for Cardif - mwahahahahahahaha

The feckers better not beat us now!

Aye - Feies seems happier there and more freedom

VERY worried about Bellamy now - no natural position for our WELSHman - doesn't score enough up top and ineffectual as AM - not sure if the CM forward arrow will be any good but now looking like squad player at the mo

We've continued to pick up points which has helped even if ot at our best - REALLY wanna win this fecking league for a 2nd time!

Wahahahahahaha - that is the worry - likely rotated team but will check fitness

The fans would be LIVID if we lost that!

Home to Cardiff in 3rd Round of the EFL Cup!

As our drummer (in real life his seat is a few rows behind my season ticket) says – we ain’t too keen on them! (halfway through vid – from about 40 seconds in)

And Cardiff’s famous “Soul Crew” away supporters (hooligans) come into own

    Team News

Middlesborough next in league in 3 days time so we do play a weakened team but still should be enough to beat these gobsh!tes

    Bowyer starts his suspension

An attacking midfield 3 of Koumas, 18 year old Morgan (dropping deeper) and Blondel (big chance to shine as AM and playmaker)

Really strong up top of Vittek and Keane!

    The Game

"The Jacks DESTROY the Bluebirds – but only after falling behind!!

As expected we’re all over them like a rash – creating loads of chances but Cardiff GK having a fine day

Then things take a turn to the worse as from a Cardiff free kick, Matthew Jones backs into a Cardiff player and the ref gives a pen!

Wilson makes no mistake from the spot for his 10th of season!

Undeterred, Swans get a vital equaliser on the stroke of HT as Blondel shows great control to take the ball down and loft it to Hargreaves who head home for 1-1 at HT!

Vaughan replaces Pisani who’s struggling but we take the game away from them then with 2 goals in 8 minutes! Role reversal as Hargreaves plays in Blondel for a bullet header and then from a Hargreaves corner Keane scores with another header (third for us already) makes it 3-1

Cardiff do give us a scare as they pull it back to 3-2 but a FOURTH HEADER from Vittek adds the deserved gloss to the scoreline

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Cardiff!

Blondel brilliant but with 2 Assists and a goal there is no denying Hargreaves deserves it today!

But look at Yury – 2 KEY headers won

    Spoiler!

Man Utd and Liverpool both dumped out of the cup on pens!

    Post Match Celebrations

At the end of the game the fans joined in with the famous “Swim Away” to taunt the Cardiff fans

EFL Cup – 4th Round Draw

Away – but Wigan are mid table in PL – could be worse I guess…..

Next Update on Sunday/Monday as away for a golf weekend

    Never in doubt.

Love Yuri as the sweeper keeper heading things away!

Aye - would have been a shocker to lose that

2 shots and 2 goals against Yury though

Good win and excellent background infos

Good to see Blondel getting some playing time.

Me think you really have an excellent team this year, with good cover for all roles.

The future looks bright for the Swans !

Expected win, but still a very good win, too!

The only problem is that you have to play in two cups and in Europa all in addition to the Premier League. And they're all knock-out tournaments as well. So hat makes for a real challenge.
